ROBBINS, LINDA - age 68 of Clinton, passed away at her home June 28, 2014. She was a member of Clinton Church of God. Linda enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. She loved to laugh and being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her hobby was studying the Bible and researching her family's genealogy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie (Orben) and Augusta Rose; brothers, Harry, Delmar, and Kenneth Rose; infant sister, Patricia Rose. Survivors: loving husband of 41 years: James Robbins; son: Byron Robbins and wife Keli; daughter: Jamie Robbins and husband Robbie Comer; brother: Dallas Rose and wife Sandra; sisters: Aleen Carden, Lavett Whitston; grandchildren: Bethany Miller and husband Jared, Isaac Robbins, and Jayden Comer; great grandchildren: Brooke and Landon Cooper; best friends: Lee Powers and Katie Carter; host of nieces and nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 1st from 5:00-7:00 PM at Clinton Church of God. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Jamie Basler and Rev. Archie Corder officiating. William Franklin "Bill" Kelley NORTON, Va. William Franklin "Bill" Kelley, 78, died Friday, June 17, 2011, at Morristown Hamblen Hospital in Morristown, Tenn. Bill was born Sept. 3, 1932, near Castlewood, Va., son of Bayard and Frances Spurrier Kelly who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean Hamilton Kelley; son, Tim Kelley and daughter, Rhonda Robertson, of Norton; sister, Betty Murray, of Michigan; brother, Jim Kelley, of Michigan; a sister, Libby Sluss, of Wytheville; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home, Norton. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Lee Kidd officiating. Graveside committal services with military graveside rites conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Temple Hill Memorial Gardens in Castlewood. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to travel in procession to the cemetery.

Amy B. Morehouse



Amy B. Morehouse died in her sleep one day prior to the 72nd anniversary of her wedding to the late Elnathan Paul Morehouse Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Ferrell Dye and Elma Etta Hetzer, and siblings, Harry Lyle Dye, Lucy Velma Beers, Charles Joseph Dye, and Martha Lou Dye. She is survived by her children, Elnathan Paul Morehouse Jr., Alyce Louise Altwies (Charles), and Elizabeth Morehouse Meckler; grandchildren, Kathleen Louise Middlecoop (Albert), Dow Oliver Wolfe III (Nicole), and Marc Perrin Meckler; great-grandchildren, Richard Paul Powers, Nathan Charles Wolfe, and Andrew Oliver Wolfe; stepgreat-granddaughter, Holly Ann Middlecoop; brothers, Thurman Francis Dye and James Orland Dye (Joyce); special nieces, Jane Ellen Holloway (Brian) and Teresa Elaine Collins; and many nieces and nephews.

Amy was a graduate of the Holzer Hospital School of Nursing and a retired registered nurse from Akron City Hospital. She resided in an independent living apartment at Rockyknol, where she was known as "the orchid lady," and an early member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ where she served for nearly 20 years as the altar flower lady.

She was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution based upon the service of her ancestor, Rev. Edward Kelly. She was proud to be the fifth Amy in six generations of her lineage and displayed that on her Florida license plates.

Calling hours will be held TODAY, February 28, 2013 at Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street, Akron) from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. A funeral service, also at the funeral home, will be conducted by the pastor of Emmanuel U. C. C, Rev. Steve Lashbrook, on Friday, March 1, 2013 beginning at 2 p.m., with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Ohio Genealogical Society (611 State Route 97, Bellville, Ohio 44813).

Larry "Moon Pie" Kelly ABINGDON,Va. Burial for Larry "Moon Pie" Kelly will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Va. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12:15 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Ralph Taylor, Erik Rasnake, Doug Cullop, Josh Cullop, Travis Rasnake and Shawn Austin. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Strong, Fred Stanley, George Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, Allen Rhea, Hunter Kelly and Rick Barton. Following the burial family and friends will gather at the home of Geraldine Bolinsky, 132 Glenrochie Drive, Abingdon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association , Mid-Atlantic Affiliate, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Expressions of sympathy to the family may be made online at Larry "Moon Pie" Kelly, age 62, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center.
